With the death of Jiang Zemin, perhaps the occasional rumors about the “Xijiang struggle” can come to an end, and Xi Jinping can relax about the “counter-revolutionary restoration.” However, with Jiang Zemin’s semi-demented state in his later years, can he still play any role in the CCP’s political arena? Fang Zeng Qinghong may be better than Fang Jiang. Because Zeng Qinghong used to be the big brother of the second generation of red, and he was also the one who promoted Xi Jinping at the end and was backlashed by Xi Jinping. But at the age of 80, what else can you do?
The next good thing is how Xi Jinping will handle Jiang Zemin’s funeral. Jiang Zemin, who was beaten to death by Xi Jinping, was praised by Xi Jinping after his death. Because of this hypocrisy, he still believes in Xi Jinping’s CCP’s words, or even speaks good things for Xi Jinping. If he is not an idiot, he is a huge liar.

There is nothing wrong with consuming the dead. If Jiang Zemin is not dead, he should be angry to death.
Needless to say, the specifications of the funeral are on par with those of Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping, which can be regarded as “etiquette”, but it is even more abrupt to put Jiang Zemin in a glass coffin like a toad for people to worship. The key lies in how Jiang Zemin is evaluated in the obituary. It’s as meaty as it gets. Not to mention other flattery words, even the “great Marxist” is ridiculous. From a pure theory point of view, Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping’s “founding fathers” were not Marxists at all, but Chinese-style rogues who changed dynasties, just playing the sign of Marxism-Leninism: Mao Zedong had to recite a few lines to the Communist International and Stalin; Deng Xiaoping didn’t even have this level, so it was forbidden to discuss “surname society, surname capital”; but when it came to Jiang Zemin, he simply shouted “Mumsheng Dafa”. Deng Xiaoping, Li Peng, and Wang Zhen’s family took the lead, and Jiang Zemin’s family followed closely. You can become a capitalist. Where is the Marxist habit? Is it “workers of the world unite” or “bourgeois of the world unite”? If this is called Marxism, then Xi Jinping’s “common prosperity” is called anti-Marxism? Of course, if one thinks that the CCP’s Marxism is fundamentally false, then they are just varying degrees of falsehood.
However, if we really want to restore the true face, it should be said that Jiang Zemin is an outlier among the leaders of the CCP. He is the only leader who has received a complete Western education among all the top leaders of the CCP, and he is also a leader who has received “Republic of China education”. So he can recite the Gettysburg Address of US President Lincoln in English, and he can also sing the national anthem of the Republic of China “Three People’s Principles, Our Party’s Daughter”. He is also versatile, can speak several languages, and can play a variety of instruments such as the piano. He entertained the world’s three major tenors and sang “O Sole Mio” with them. He also expressed his love for African-American folk songs and Foster’s “Old Folks At Home”. When he went to visit Mozart’s hometown of Salzburg, he actually sat down and played the piano used by Mozart in disregard of the rules, embarrassing the presence of the Austrian president. However, what he played was not Mozart’s “Aria of Figaro”, but “Honghu Water, Waves Beating Waves”, a popular Chinese song praising He Long, a bandit who started with two kitchen knives. It is precisely this contradiction that makes Jiang Zemin like Western culture and art, but opposes peaceful evolution and the “Westernization” of thought.
Jiang Zemin’s “Three Represents” thought implies that Western culture is an advanced culture, which represents advanced productive forces. It is what the CCP wants to pursue, and it is also the theoretical basis for his family and party members to make a fortune. However, it cannot be clearly stated and is written into the party constitution. , The Constitution appears nondescript. This is as nondescript as Xi Jinping went back to the Cultural Revolution and still praised Jiang Zemin as a “great Marxist”.
The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the death of Jiang Zemin seem to symbolize the end of the era of reform and opening up and the beginning of the era of closed-door policy and poor socialism. However, the above-mentioned various contradictions still exist and cannot be resolved. This shows how long the CCP, which has no ideals and is only eager for quick success, can survive this contradiction?
If we say “pro-American”, Deng Xiaoping is falsely pro-American, and he is still anti-imperialist and xenophobic in his bones; Jiang Zemin is really pro-American, and Western culture has penetrated into his cells, but he is in the huge meat-grinding machine of the CCP. not only supported the massacre of students on June 4th, but also launched a military exercise against Taiwan in 1995 to break the promise of “peaceful reunification”, and launched a suppression of Falun Gong in 1999; Stealing, robbery and abduction of the economy and technology also rose on a large scale at this time. However, compared with Xi Jinping’s blatant proclaiming emperor and wolf warrior diplomacy, Jiang Zemin appears to be more “civilized”.
History cannot assume, but assuming that it is Jiang Zemin, not Xi Jinping, who restores the tenure system, what will happen to his “Three Represents” later, China will completely enter “crony capitalism” and be cut off from the “socialism with Chinese characteristics” of the feudal dynasty ? Can the power of an individual or a faction break through the system of the CCP like the Soviet Communist Party did? Can the people of China break through conservative forces and support reform like the people of the Soviet Union?
