呼吁美国政府给予受中共迫害的反共人士以庇护保护
尊敬的美国总统先生以及美国政府、美国国会：
在制定美国对华政策时，美国政府、国会采取了将中国人与中共进行了区分的立场，中国许许多多的民众为此十分感动，美国政府终于理解了中国人民的痛苦——中国人民是中共独裁政权的受害者，中共不能代表中国人民。正如新任国务卿卢比奥先生所说：“中共与中国人民的关系就是寄生虫与宿主的关系。”在川普总统及行政团队与两党的共同努力下，撕开了中共在全世界面前伪装的面纱，让全世界看到了中共对中国人犯下的罪行与痛苦，让全世界看到了中共对美国、欧洲民主、自由制度迫在眉睫的威胁、破坏，看到了独裁中共妄图控制全世界的野心。
中共还直接在美国后院不断施加影响，从巴拿马到其他拉美国家，试图在全球实施破坏二战后美国领导下建立起来的世界秩序，同时不断加强对美国的渗透与破坏性影响，等等。而今这一切该被结束了。
因此作为中国在海外的异议人士，我们向新一届美国政府发出请求：希望美国政府能更加广泛地团结中国人，尤其是遭受中共迫害的异议人士，一起共同寻求结束中共独裁政权的路径，结束中共这个有史以来对美国构成最大威胁的敌人，我们愿意与美国一起努力狙击中共的全球野心与独裁势力的扩张，以在美国带领下建立一个更加安全、美好、自由、民主的世界，建立一个许志永先生倡导的对美国友好且价值观相同的美好中国。
美国是一个伟大的国家，美国的伟大不仅在于政治民主和法治文明，人民享有自由、富足的生活，经济、军事、科技发达，还在于美国通过给与来自世界各国受迫害的异议人士予以支持、帮助、庇护、保护，通过各国的异议人士将美国的民主、自由价值观传播向了全世界。相信美国新一届政府让美国再次伟大的愿景之一，就蕴含着让美国引领的民主、自由的普世价值观继续在世界各地开花结果。如果在川普总统领导下的新一届政府能瓦解或加速当今世界上最大的中共独裁政权的瓦解，那一定是美国历史上最伟大的一届政府。
美国作为世界上最强大的民主国家，一直以来都是自由、民主和人权的捍卫者。因此为了世界的民主与自由，我们请求美国政府能够继续从人道主义精神出发，给予来自中国等独裁政权国家的异议人士庇护，使他们能够远离迫害，得到安全的避难所。美国的伟大不仅在于尽责任和义务保护那些因追求自由、民主和正义而受到迫害的人，而且也是彰显美国在保护人权和维护国际正义方面领导地位的体现。作为一个以自由、民主和正义为核心价值的国家，美国有义务帮助那些为这些价值而奋斗的人。
因此，今天我们向川普总统及美国政府、美国国会发出呼吁，希望美国政府给予这样的人士以庇护保护，而梁颂基就是其中一位来自中国广东的异议人士。他因为追求中国的民主与捍卫人权，长期遭受中国政府迫害，不得不冒险逃离中国来到美国。他两次被判刑，一次被关押37天，多次被抓捕、传讯并遭受酷刑。他的事迹被美国媒体多次报道，他的案例也被收入了美国国会的中国委员会（CECC）的数据库。虽然梁颂基先生不像刘晓波、许志永、丁家喜、秦永敏、王炳章等人那样的领袖人物受到更多关注，但是结束中共独裁政权，推动中国民主自由的事业是需要无数岌岌无名的人一起共同努力才能完成的，因此他的经历不是一个个人的挣扎，对他的庇护更是对全世界所有争取自由、民主与正义的普通人的激励。
目前，梁颂基先生被美国移民局羁押一年多时间，在等待庇护申请的结果。他迫切需要美国政府的正式庇护，以脱离当前的不安和恐惧。我们呼吁美国政府能够迅速采取行动，给予像梁颂基这样的人士以庇护，让真正受到中共专制独裁政权迫害与威胁的反共人士能够继续为自由、民主和人权而奋斗。
最后，愿美国这座民主灯塔光芒永放！

An Appeal to the U.S. Government to Grant Asylum Protection to Anti-Communist Individuals Persecuted by the CCP
Respected President of the United States, U.S. Government, and U.S. Congress:
In formulating its policy toward China, the U.S. government and Congress have taken a position that distinguishes between the Chinese people and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). This stance has deeply moved many Chinese, as it finally acknowledges the suffering of the Chinese people—the Chinese are victims of the CCP’s dictatorial regime, and the CCP does not represent them. As newly appointed Secretary of State Rubio stated, “The relationship between the CCP and the Chinese people is that of a parasite and a host.” With the concerted efforts of President Trump and the executive team with both parties, the veil of the CCP’s disguise before the world has been torn away, allowing the world to see the crimes and sufferings committed by the CCP against the Chinese people, allowing the world to see the CCP’s imminent threat to, and sabotage of, the democratic and free systems of the U.S. and Europe, and to see the dictatorial CCP’s ambitions of controlling the whole world.
The CCP has also been exerting constant influence directly in the backyard of the United States, from Panama to other Latin American countries, attempting to globally implement the destruction of the world order established under the leadership of the United States after World War II, while constantly strengthening its infiltration and destructive influence on the United States, and so on. And now it’s time to put an end to all this.
Therefore, as Chinese dissidents overseas, we send a request to the new U.S. government: we hope that the U.S. government can more widely unite the Chinese people, especially the dissidents who have suffered persecution from the CCP, and together we can seek a path to end the CCP’s dictatorial regime, and put an end to the CCP, the enemy that poses the greatest threat to the U.S. in the history of the world, and we are willing to work with the U.S. to snipe out the CCP’s global ambitions and the expansion of dictatorial power. We are willing to work with the U.S.
to snip the global ambitions of the CCP and the expansion of dictatorial power, in order to build a safer, better, freer, and more democratic world under the leadership of the U.S., and to build a better China that is friendly to the U.S. and shares the same values, as advocated by Mr. Xu Zhiyong.
The United States is a great nation. Its greatness is not only reflected in its political democracy, rule of law, and the freedom and prosperity enjoyed by its people, or in its advanced economy, military, and technology—but also in its tradition of supporting, assisting, granting asylum to, and protecting dissidents persecuted by authoritarian regimes worldwide. Through these dissidents, America’s democratic and free values have spread across the globe. We believe that one of the visions for making America great again, as envisioned by the new administration, is to allow the universal values of democracy and freedom led by the United States to continue flourishing around the world. If the new administration under President Trump can dismantle or accelerate the collapse of the world’s largest dictatorial regime—the CCP—it would surely be the greatest administration in U.S. history.
As the world’s most powerful democratic nation, the United States has always been a defender of freedom, democracy, and human rights. Therefore, for the sake of democracy and freedom in the world, we request that the United States Government can continue to act in a humanitarian spirit and grant asylum to dissidents from countries with dictatorial regimes, such as China, so that they can be safe from persecution and be given a safe haven. The greatness of the United States lies not only in doing its duty and obligation to protect those who are persecuted for their pursuit of freedom, democracy and justice, but it is also a manifestation of demonstrating the leadership of the United States in protecting human rights and upholding international justice. As a nation whose core values are freedom, democracy and justice, the United States has an obligation to help those who fight for those values.
Therefore, today we are appealing to President Trump and the U.S. government and the U.S. Congress to grant asylum and protection to such people, and Liang Songji is one of those dissidents from Guangdong, China. He was persecuted by the Chinese government for a long time for his pursuit of democracy and defense of human rights in China, and had to take the risk of fleeing China to come to the United States. He was sentenced twice, detained for 37 days at a time, and arrested, arraigned, and tortured on numerous occasions. His story has been reported many times by the U.S. media, and his case has been included in the database of the U.S. Congressional Committee on China (CECC). Although Mr. Liang Songji has not received as much attention as leaders like Liu Xiaobo, Xu Zhiyong, Ding Jiaxi, Qin Yongmin, and Wang Bingzhang, the cause of ending the Chinese Communist Party’s dictatorship and advancing democracy and freedom in China can only be accomplished by countless precariously nameless people working together, so his experience is not a personal struggle, and his asylum is even more of an inspiration to all of the world’s His asylum is an inspiration to all ordinary people around the world who strive for freedom, democracy and justice.
Currently, Mr. Liang Songji has been detained by U.S. Immigration authorities for over a year while awaiting the outcome of his asylum application. He urgently needs formal asylum from the U.S. government to escape his current state of insecurity and fear. We call on the U.S. government to take swift action in granting asylum to individuals like Liang Songji so that genuine anti-communist dissidents, who are persecuted and threatened by the CCP’s authoritarian regime, can continue to fight for freedom, democracy, and human rights.
Finally, may the beacon of democracy in the United States shine forever!
