各位今天维汉国际网络大会很重要，其焦点就应该是维吾尔人与汉人交流，互相理解，达到共识。不少朋友讲得不错，我只想强调几点并披露一些许多人也许并不知情的事实。
中共对维吾尔人的迫害，已是前所未有。如中共对其实是非常温和的伊利哈木教授判处无期徒刑，就远远超过对其他类似的持异见者的迫害与惩罚。现在国际社会终于关注到维吾尔人的苦难，这是一个良好的转折点，我们需要更加努力，来推动，来改变。
二十多年来，中国民运尤其是魏京生先生领导下的中国民主运动海外联席会议一向坚定地支持维吾尔人的人权，在国际国内为维吾尔人呼吁。作为汉人，我本人就多次帮助过维吾尔人，甚至获得他们获得所在流亡国家的避难身份。多年来，魏京生先生也曾为了被中共列入红色通缉的世界维吾尔大会主席多里坤先生向国际刑警组织抗议，并与国际社会及媒体联络。令人欣慰的是，国际刑警组织终于将多里坤先生从红通名单上拿了下来。
多年来，我们一向支持维吾尔人，也多次公开中共在国内和海外对维吾尔人犯下的罪行。在911发生之后，中共曾乘机将一系列维吾尔人及组织列入恐怖组织名单，并联络和督促正积极反恐的美国政府。我帮魏京生顶着逆流，给美国国务院与白宫等机构写信并呼吁，告诫他们必须团结乃至支持中国的穆斯林包括维吾尔人，而不是上中共的圈套。
多年来，尤其是这二十年来，一路走来并不容易。但因此可以肯定，我们汉维之间是有善待对方及团结合作的历史与基础的。然而，这也正是中共要破坏的。仔细观察，尤其是近两年维吾尔人的苦难终于得到了国际社会的关注并予以回应乃至制裁，我们多年的努力终于达到一定的效果时，中共更是狗急跳墙。我们不能忽略和忘记中共一时一刻也没有放弃其一党独裁专制，包括破坏维汉关系，乃至派遣特务到两边挑拨离间搞破坏。其实中共从来如此，我们必须警惕。在过去，中共针对藏汉等关系做了类似之事，但很不成功。
面对维吾尔人的苦难，我们大家尤其是汉人应当自省，尽力并尽早结束中共的极其残酷的迫害与镇压，争取早日实现大家都向往的民主自由。但这一切的前提是我们必须认清中共是迫害我们的共同敌人，是维吾尔人、藏人、蒙古人等各族人民包括汉人的敌人。我再强调一下：这一切的前提是我们必须认清中共是迫害我们的共同敌人，是维吾尔人、藏人、蒙古人等各族人民包括汉人的敌人。我们必须反抗中共极权政府对所有人民的迫害，对全世界的扩张。我们必须团结，必须相互体谅，相互支持。我们所有人，包括汉人、藏人、维吾尔人、蒙古人等各族人民只有团结一致，共同抵抗，才可能推翻中共，给大家都带来自由民主与尊严！让我们所有的人，包括汉人、藏人、维吾尔人、蒙古人等各族人民团结一致，共同抵抗，推翻中共，给大家都带来自由民主与尊严！

Uyghurs and Han Chinese Must United Together and Fight Against the CCP

Today’s Uyghur-Han International Video Conference is very important, and its focus should be on the exchanges between Uyghurs and Han Chinese to reach understanding and consensus. Many of our friends have spoken well. I just want to emphasize a few points and disclose some facts that many people may not know.
The persecution of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) against the Uyghurs is unprecedented.For example, the Communist regime’s lifetime sentence of Uyghur Professor Ilham Toxti, who is actually a very moderate person, far exceeds the persecution and punishment of other similar dissidents. Now that the international community is finally paying attention to the suffering of the Uyghurs, this is a good turning point. We need to work harder to promote justice and change.
For more than 20 years, the Chinese Democracy Movement, especially the Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition under the leadership of Mr. Wei Jingsheng, has always firmly supported the human rights of Uyghurs and appealed for Uyghurs at home and abroad.As a Han Chinese, I personally have helped Uyghurs many times, and even helped them to obtain asylum status in their countries of exile. Over the years, Mr. Wei Jingsheng has also protested to Interpol and reached out to the international community and the media for Mr. Dolkun Isa, the president of the World Uyghur Congress, who was on the Interpol’s red notice and wanted by the CCP. The good news is that Interpol finally removed Mr. Dolkun Isa from its red notice.
Over the years, we have always supported Uyghurs and have repeatedly exposed the crimes the CCP has committed against Uyghurs at home and abroad.After 9/11 terrorist attacks, the CCP took the opportunity to include a series of Uyghurs and organizations on its terrorist list, and communicated and urged the US government which was actively fighting terrorism. I helped Wei Jingsheng to stand against the dangerous current by writing letters and urged to the U.S. State Department, the White House and other institutions, advising them to unite and even support Chinese Muslims, including Uyghurs, rather than fall into the scheme of the Communist regime in China.
Over the years, especially in the past two decades, it has not been easy to go all the way till today.But it is certain that we, Uyghurs and the Han Chinese, have a history and foundation for treating each other well, and for unity and cooperation. However, this is exactly what the CCP wants to destroy. Observe carefully that as the suffering of Uyghurs has finally received the attention of the international community and it has responded with condemnation and even sanctions in the past two years, our years of efforts have finally achieved a certain effect; the CCP is getting desperate like a dog having to jump over a wall. We must not ignore and forget that the CCP has not given up its one-party dictatorship even for a moment, and is still trying to destroy Uyghur-Han relations, even sending special agents to both sides to sow discord and destroy our friendships. In fact, the CCP has always been like this, and we must be vigilant. In the past, the CCP did similar things with regard to Tibetan-Chinese relations, but it was very unsuccessful.
In the face of the suffering of the Uyghurs, all of us, especially the Han Chinese, should through introspection do our best and end the extremely cruel persecution and suppression by the CCP as soon as possible, and strive to realize as soon as possible the democracy and freedom that we all yearn for.But the prerequisite for all this is that we must recognize that the CCP is our common enemy persecuting us – the CCP is the enemy of all ethnic groups including the Han Chinese, including the Uyghurs, the Tibetans, and the Mongolians, etc. Let me emphasize again: the prerequisite for all this is that we must recognize that the CCP is our common enemy persecuting us – the CCP is the enemy of all ethnic groups including the Han Chinese, including the Uyghurs, the Tibetans, and the Mongolians, etc. We must resist the CCP totalitarian government’s persecution of all people and the invasion of the whole world. We must be united. We must understand and support each other. Only when all of us, including Han, Uyghurs, Tibetans, Mongolians, and other ethnic groups unite and resist together, then we can overthrow the Communist regime’s dictatorship to bring freedom, democracy, and dignity to everyone!
